In August 2018, we opened the doors to our brand new £5 million, state of the art, Cleeve Sixth Form Centre of Excellence.

This new centre provides independence for over 330 Sixth Form students.

The centre features a large lecture theatre, seminar rooms, quiet study, technology suites, classrooms, small café and social and communal areas.

Selecting Subjects

Students need to select three A levels or BTEC/National Diplomas to study over their two years at Sixth Form.

Students can choose a combination of both types of qualification. For all subjects and combinations, you must achieve a minimum Grade 4 for GCSE English and Mathematics.

A level Subjects

  • You must achieve a minimum of four Grade 5s and one Grade 4 at GCSE
  • You must meet subject entry criteria outlined in each subject guide in this prospectus
    BTEC’s/Nationals
  • You must achieve a minimum of four Grade 4s at GCSE in four different subjects.
  • For all subjects you wish to study at BTEC/National, a minimum Grade 4 must be
    achieved or in an associated subject at GCSE
    Combined A level and BTEC/National Subjects
  • You must achieve a minimum of four Grade 4s at GCSE in four different subjects
  • For each A level subject you wish to study, you must meet the subject entry criteria
    outlined in each subject guide in this prospectus
  • For all subjects you wish to study at BTEC/National, a minimum Grade 4 must be
    achieved or in an associated subject at GCSE
