Applications open for Fundraising Governor

Have you heard? We are recruiting for a Fundraising Governor to join our Governing Body.

We would like to hear from prospective Governors with a strategic knowledge of fundraising, ideally within the education sector. This will be a non-elected appointment and an association with the school is not necessary.

All Governors (apart from the Principal and Staff Governor) are volunteers with a suggested term of office of four years. Under usual circumstances around 10 – 15 days a year are spent on governing responsibilities. The successful candidate will be expected to attend five Full Governing Body meetings a year, two strategy meetings, and will also be a member of the Student Enrichment/Growth and Community sub-committee which meets three times a year.
