The PTFA at Cleeve School are a band of loyal members who continue to raise money to improve the experience of students at the school. The committee regularly attend key events at school in order to raise money and provide refreshments and have donated significant amounts in order to benefit students.
Recent projects that the PTFA have supported include the Zambia Partnership, the Year 11 Leavers’ Meal, and the purchase of new microphones for use in assemblies.
A particular project that the PTFA was proud to fund was the design and installation of a life size memorial tree sculpture within the Atrium. This was designed and constructed by the Design Technology department to remember members of our community who we have lost, as well as providing a space for quiet reflection for our students.
The ‘100 Club’ is one of the major fundraisers that the PTFA uses for the benefit of Cleeve School. Membership of the 2016/2017 academic year is now open and we would encourage all new parents and staff, and any previous members, to join. For an investment of just £15 per year you could win a 1st prize of £100 or a 2nd prize of £25 each term! Draws are held at PTFA events once a term and the money raised goes towards supporting student activities, either in school or at extra-curricular events. For further information, please click here.
The PTFA is led by Bev Osborne and the committee are looking for new members to join. This could be to help at a few events or to join the full committee. If you are interested in joining and contributing to students’ experiences at Cleeve please do contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
